It's Official -- We are endorsing Huckabee for President

Prior to last night's debate, I was strongly leaning towards supporting Gov. Mike Huckabee for the GOP Presidential candidate. After the debate, I am totally convinced. I found the following video on another blogger's site. It's a speech that Gov. Huckabee made at a Pastor's Conference. It's lengthy, but good.

I have been impressed with Huckabee's great attitude in the debates. I also like a lot of what he has to say, but I am uncomfortable that he reminds me a lot of Bush when he was running for president, which in the end, Bush pulled the wool over my eyes and has now gone beyond the Constitutional limits of the Executive powers in order to get his "it's good-for-us agenda" through. Namely: Patriot Act, denial of habeas corpus, violating the Christian just war philosophy, more spending and borrowing than any other president in our history to fund regime changes, his purposeful moves to set up an American Union, etc. The more the Executive power is expanded for "our benefit" now, the more it will be used against us when an evil president is placed in office. And Bush W has expanded the Executive powers probably more than any other president in our history. Another reason I am nervous about Huckabee is that he is a Huge Rick Warren fan -- Rick Warren (http://www.extremetheology.com/
2006/11/rick_warren_mem.html) is a member of the diabolical CFR which is openly planning and working toward a one world ruler. See my post for more on the CFR. (http://achristianblogs.blog
spot.com/2007/07/cfr-2008-presidential-candidates.html) (also read about the founder of CFR http://freedom4um.com/cgi-bin/read
art.cgi?ArtNum=31438&Disp=0) On the internet there are different ones concerned that Huckabee has CFR connections or will go that way since his Spiritual hero Warren is already a CFR member. I am VERY concerned about this. And I would honestly check into the CFR and watch for any connections. I also finally answered your questions about Ron Paul on my blog. Many blessings. And may God have mercy on our dear USA. Let us pray for God to do what is best for His kingdom.

I was very impressed and pleased with Gov. Huckabee. Although some may not completely agree with all of his views, he stands head and shoulders above the other candidates. After viewing the complete program on your blog, I say "Go Huckabee."

Phil,

I researched a little on CFR ... and I found that there are five Republican candidates are not CFR members: Sam Brownback, Mike Huckabee, Tom Tancredo, Alan Keyes, and Ron Paul. I'm not sure to make of the Rick Warren comment. Although I disagree with some of his methods, The Purpose Driven Church has a lot of valuable information and insight. It's a bit of a reach to say that because Huckabee likes Warren's perspective on growing a church that he also agrees with everything else Warren has to say.

Huckabee has clearly come out against open borders between US and Canada, and some other concerns related to the CFR.

Thanks for your comments ... it made me do some research on the whole CFR matter.
